Aged 10 to 12 months and coated in traditional black wax, this semi-firm cheese develops a rich, savory flavor with a smooth, buttery finish.
Unlike most Pecorino Romano made in Sardinia, Fulvi® uses whole milk rather than skimmed, resulting in a cheese that’s less salty, less dry, and more full-bodied. Its higher butterfat content gives it a creamier texture, making it delicious whether grated over pasta or enjoyed on its own.
